Terms of service

1.ONLINE-ONLY BUSINESS
Orbit Furniture is an online-only store. We do not have a physical retail store for walk-ins. All items are manufactured at our workshop.

 2. ORDERS & MANUFACTURING
All items are Made-to-Order unless marked "In Stock". Manufacturing lead time is 7-21 business days as stated on each product page. Custom sizes/colours cannot be changed once production has started.

Manufacturing & Dispatch Address:
This is not a walk-in store. Collections are by appointment only.

3. PRICING & PAYJUSTNOW
Prices are in ZAR and include VAT. If you pay with PayJustNow, your instalment agreement is with PayJustNow. We are not responsible for their fees. Delivery fees are calculated at checkout.

4. DELIVERY POLICY

         Lead Time is 7 to 14 working days

         Small items: Courier (2-5 business days after manufacturing)

  • Large Furniture: Furniture delivery truck (3-7 business days after manufacturing, scheduled via WhatsApp)
  • Customer must ensure clear access (doors, stairs). Delivery is to doorstep/ground floor unless assembly is quoted.
  • You MUST inspect furniture before driver leaves. Report any transit damage with photos within 24 hours.
  • Failed delivery / no one home will incur a re-delivery fee of R250-R650.

5. CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Standard items: Cancel within 24 hours if manufacturing has not started = full refund.
  • Made-to-Order / Custom furniture: CANNOT be cancelled once manufacturing has started. This is per CPA Section 16(c).
  • PayJustNow cancellations are refunded back to your PayJustNow account.

6. REFUND & RETURN POLICY
We have a NO RETURN FOR CHANGE OF MIND on all made-to-order and custom furniture.

Eligible for refund/exchange/repair only if:
a) Damaged in transit (with photos within 24 hours)
b) Manufacturing defect / wrong item sent

Not eligible:
Change of mind, wrong size ordered, natural wood variations, misuse, or items that have been used/assembled.

All returns must be pre-approved. Return courier for furniture is at customer's cost (can be R500+). Approved refunds take 7-10 business days.

7. WARRANTY
3-month structural warranty. Excludes misuse, water damage, and moving damage.
